JAGR2 OVERVIEW
This project involves the design of a system that will allow tracking of a pedestrian in real-time using two existing technologies, and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and a GPS receiver. The pedestrian will be able to go inside buildings and open sky areas without loosing critical data. Based on the coordinates and inertial measurements obtained, the system will processes the information and then will transmit it through a RF data link to the SDSU wireless network. Then, the enhaced coordinates and elevation data will be used to track the pedestrian using a personal computer anywhere in the world. |
